Definitely not a great shark movie. It has lots of awkward moments, exaggerated scenes (especially its BGM), and LOL skits and wacko dramas. And it kinda betrays the Shark trope genre. However, it's not unforgiving bad, and the overall bigger plot is good. Got my shark fun watching it. Also, unlike what the synopsis and many of the story summaries on this movie says. This shark movie touches the occult (The cause, the origin, etc2), with the final scene implying that they are now forgiven (The rain start to fall again)

Story is short and feels rushed. There is strong disconnect between players and V (the MC) and Johny. There is not enough content to really live up to the cyberpunk fantasies, it's missing the cool and bizare implants, braindance is underutilised, deepdive is just marketing scam, and finally, the nightcity (despite it's praiseworthy sceneries) is just a dead town with lack of content nor activities for players to be immersed at it. Choice hardly matters, unlike what's promised by the dev. I truly don't get people who praised the game, and give this game stellar ratings. The story is neither strong, nor it's unique, especially with the disconnects and un-immersiveness it gives to players. It's common level of story you can find in many other games. Is ok, and just ok. Edit Add: Giving it 1 star,down from 3* for the reason below. There are internet armies hired by CDPR, given how many of the gameblogs sychronize with each other at close period of time and write more or less the same stuff. Most likely armies also exist with the good review on steam and on google and other platforms. Some of the 5* review given here, is definitely from armies, since it feels like they don't play the game. Example: Look at review praising for braindance, if you play the game, you know their review is not true.. So, 1 star to hopefully balance the armies.
