I can barely give this movie one star! How can a beautiful book like "Where the Crawdads Sing" become one of the worst movies I've seen? Daisy Edgar-Jones has lifeless eyes and appears to be emotionless throughout the movie. Her clothes, "you're killing me," she must shop at Bloomingdales. What church hands out clothes like that, I might join! Jojo Regina is sweet but does not fit the part of a frightened, starving little girl abandoned by her family! Performances by Taylor John Smith and David Strathairn were stellar. I had to leave just after she and Chase met; I couldn't stand it anymore.

So Yoko Ono paid for, directed and marketed this!
