This movie is hilarious and quite a find. Cagney at his best high energy and high hilarity. The Russian chacters are strictly out of the sterotypes of the Cold War which makes the movie even more hilarious and authentic to the time period. It also, makes the point how Horst Buchholtz's character is a perfect example of a young person who takes best offering to move up in the world. From penniless communist bum to marrieing the bosses daughter and moving on up to the penthouse!! The gags are great, but one small draw back people today would have to know the culture and political background of the early 1960's to understand the jokes in the movie. Otherwise this movie is one of the funniest movies I've ever watched and I've seen this movie at least a dozen times or a few more times than that and it is still hilarious!!!

What can I say about a movie which has Al Jolson singing in it!!
