This game.. It honestly was not my favorite. This was the second game I've played after playing The Devil's Daughter, and I honestly rather got lost mostly while playing it, while also getting stuck with how Watson follows Sherlock around. This game is not bad considering it is the first (or so I assume) but it's also not as good as the other two games I've played; The Devil's Daughter and The Awakened. One thing that really confuses me, since I'm mostly going by how the other two games look rather like younger versions of Sherlock and Watson, where exactly is Katelyn Moriarty? She only really shows up in The Devil's Daughter and it always makes me a bit confused as to what happened to her after that.. Overall besides my confusion with that, this game still was not that bad. I did get rather frustrated at a few points.. But, I got over those and pushed through. I rather look forward to the next game these developers make of Sherlock if they ever revisit any of the games for an update or even expand the story to Sherlock and Watson being younger. Whatever happens next, I just know that it will be as marvelous as this game and the very others.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments

This was the first game I've played of the Sherlock Holmes series (I know, I did not play them in order) and yet I found myself utterly loving this game. I played this on my Nintendo Switch and I honestly got the game done in two days (mostly because I had to go back and forth for some cases..) I overall really love this game. It caught me and my sister's attention pretty easily and it was rather challenging at times. I find it pretty kind for some puzzles, you could just skip them if you can't get passed it. My sister and I got stuck on the temple puzzles and I'm actually pretty relieved that there was a skip for those puzzles. I really only have good reviews about this one. I find it bittersweet how Sherlock is trying to be a good parent for Katelyn all while navigating through different cases and watching out for Alice, and the plot twist at the end really threw me off. (I shan't spoil the end of course, though I rather bet that the ending is obvious from the name of this game.) Overall, my review on this game is only satisfied, and I look forward to more games by these developers.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter

This game is amazing now that I've played it fully. Although I will say, it feels rather a bit unfinished in my opinion.. Like this game certainly is missing something. Though I'm not quite sure. I'm also not sure if this was intentional, but I do love how the games are slowly diversing into younger versions of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. I find that feature actually pretty astonishing since it shows how they were younger. I look forward to a new game coming out where it involves them just meeting, I feel like that would be a good pathway to go with at this rate. Other than all that, The game does not have First Person, which I find rather difficult to maneuver around without it. (I played this on a Nintendo Switch, though I did saw online that First POV could be activated upon a keyboard. Still saddening how it doesn't have that feature on the controllers.) Overall, my review is still the same. This game was honestly really fun, and I managed to play it all in one night. I will most likely be playing it once again.
