The first time I read this book I remember thinking it was novel in its approach. Creating black holes were not a thing when I read this. There are books that you buy and reread many times over your life and for me this is one of them. Having a decade or two pass since the first time you've read and while creating a black hole isn't still commonplace, I probably think the story may not be as strong in a couple places as my first reading but I still think it is worth at least a four star rating and I highly recommend reading at least once.
