I lost my wife over two years ago after 25 years of marriage.Im still grieving her loss.This wonderful show has helped me cope through this time. What I love about Mr Gervais writing is the golden rule ‘show don’t tell’ For example after 25 years of marriage for whatever reason ,they had no children.This was shown by the pet dog they had. Again in the final episode it shows all the people he has brought together while he still sits alone with his laptop and dog. Thank you Ricky your up there with Chaplin having the ability to make us laugh and cry in the same moment
