Riddled with pacing issues and long, boring sequences of cliched cop jargon, The Punisher is held together only by a brilliant performance given by Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle. While we may not get to see anything nearly as masterful as his portrayal in Erik Oleson's Daredevil, watching the ex-marine crush skulls and break wrists is endlessly entertaining, when the show allows it, that is.
