This movie disappointed all die-hard Thalapathy fans but was loved by the non-Vijay fans. As a die-hard Thalapathy fan, I was expecting the film to be more. The first 20 or so minutes were amazing and I thought this film was going to be a blockbuster. But then it slowly declined with Pooja Hegde being eye candy and comedy artists like Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley weren't used to the best of their ability shown in Doctor (this might be because of schedule clashes). Personally, Thalapathy has had worse films and this film did entertain me for a certain part. Vijay, VTV Ganesh, and Selva were the highlights of the film with honourable mentions from Satish(for acting so annoyingly), the old security guard and Shine who all acted their part well. The villain was very weak and did not impact me like someone from Theri or Kaththi. The hijackers were weak and robot-like. Thalapathy did the best he could do, he was very mass like with the car scene, jet scene and of course the intro. ANI DID AMAZING WITH THE MUSIC. COULD NOT HAVE DONE WORSE. The only annoying part was that Jolly O Gymkhana was at the end. Arabic Kuthu was amazing though. Hopefully, Thalapathy 66 does amazingly well with Thalapathy (My favourite actor), Rashmika (an amazing actress with Pushpa) and the director Vamshi. Don't let us down, Vamshi bro. All the best to Thalapathy 66, can not wait even though I just watched Beast yesterday. Power of Thalapathy!!!
