A bit of a spoiler (very small...maybe( The movie was going GREAT until Seth Rogan's character decision at the end that completely threw his character build up OUT THE DAMN WINDOW. Disappointing, absolutely disappointing. Watching a character absolutely cave in in its foundation. Such a funny and interesting movie with a message that could have been 100000x better if they just deleted a certain "phone call scene". Would have been a 5 star EASY. But man.....so disappointing.

I will be honest, as an author, I could see many areas where I would cut certain scenes and use that time to create better ones. Many areas where the movie came short in terms of exploring and 'diving deeper'. It was not perfect However, I was on a theater with Sooo many kids talking sometimes, to the point where I wondered where the parents 'went' ( : and I still found joy in the movie. The one time I was 'drawn back' (which usually happens when a movie is boring to me) was when the kids were yaking, which probably shows that I was upset BECAUSE I actually enjoyed the movie. Besides that, I was fine with it, got me a tear out of my left eye in the end. So I gotta give it props for that And yes, I do agree that the movie could have used its time better to 'connect' more with people who's lives are more similar to Wade's life. And since I could relate to both, his personality and her background, I think I was able to enjoy their story more then others. But regardless of all of that. I do not regret watching it and may watch it one more time online before considering buying it on DVD. It may not be for everyone. But if you have a creative mind and are looking for some inspiration. I HIGHLY recommend this movie, For the gaps that you see in it can help you to think of ways that you would fill them Thank you very much for reading 🙂
