Avid fan of the OG film, I found myself looking for reasons to think of this new film as inferior somehow. I was also excited about Jordan Peele's involvement. Overall, what they decided to do with the Candyman story and legend is creative and has opened up a whole new world of film franchise possibilities. I'm looking forward to watching it again (at home), so I can really sink my teeth into it more.
