You remember the fact that for all her snobbery, she never assaulted him physically while he showed his power by kicking and slapping her several times (despite having better alternatives available to control her), it stops being fun fast. A real man's badge comes from being able to refrain from using physical violence against those unable to match him physically, not by how well he can control a woman or how many time he can kick her without her retaliation.
