If you care even a little about realistic physics, it's better to avoid this trainwreck. It is absolutely inexcusable that in this day and age a director can't be bothered to do a simple search to check if what he is doing makes any sense. If toy forget about the bad physics, you're left with a generic film about survival that tries to be epic but forgets to make the audience care.
