It’s nostalgic, well acted with a great story line. Set in Scotland it accurately tells the story of the heroics of young bunch of university students taking back what belongs to them.

The biggest let down for me is that it strays so far from the book.

It’s a musical first and that’s what shows through. If you love musicals then you’ll love burlesque

I really enjoyed it. A decent mix of humour, suspense and intrigue.
