Interesting Facts

So cheesy! I was in a total mood for a rom-com and the trailer seemed very inviting but the story is super cliché with absolutely nothing new about it. The best thing in the whole movie was the goat. The acting from the NZ actors was very soap opera-ish, Christina's acting is not bad but inconsistent and I just couldn't really connect, unfortunately.

Of course Rotten Tomatoes would rate this high. Everything leaning-left, they rate high if you haven't noticed yet. I'm neither left of right but I could see how clearly left-leaning this documentary was. Very biased, omitting very important information, showing footage out of context to create a narrative, staging scenes and using tactics of emotional appeal, far from being purely or majoritarily factual. I kinda laugh when I see people saying this documentary was well executed. They obviously don't know the difference between documentary and propaganda.

This movie sucked, sorry. The title gives attention to the hurricane but the hurricane is just a backdrop to the heist, which is fine, except that the heist action didn't catch my interest enough and so I am now disappointed that nothing special about this hurricane happened at all. Saw some CGI issues but also bad acting sometimes. Some awesome lines that could have become iconic if it wasn't for the bad delivery of them. Well, it's not even that, it's just that most actors styles just don't fit their roles well enough to be believable enough. The only actors that were truly strong there was the lead's brother and the deputy guy. I didn't feel a good connection at all between the 2 leads. Oh and I even saw the greenscreen in a car scene. C'mon!
