Best series I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve watched it all like 3 times now thru the years. A must watch. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen.

Too much death for me and that was just in the first 3 seasons. Got tired of rooting for someone or some couple just to see it fall apart. There was no good reason for it. Otherwise I found the first 3 seasons good from the writing to the acting to the costumes and the overall look of it. I might go back to it but it will be awhile if at all.

Just finished the 2nd Season! After reading some of these reviews, it reminds me how people don't get comedy drama. No need to take this so personal whether you live in France or are an American. It's a fun show with typical triangle love story and characters that pull you in. Great actors make it worth the watch, the clothes are really fun and location location location. Again, it's a typical comedy drama with the typical love stories. Not sure why the French seem to be so offended by it. We as Americans have always known French simply don't even like Americans. We know that, we don't care. Not sure either why some are annoyed she didn't know how to speak French before she got there. Did they not watch the beginning of the series? She wasn't even supposed to be going to France, her boss was. She couldn't go due to pregnancy so Emily had to go with no notice or French lessons. And French isn't an easy language to learn, well at least for most of us Americans. Relax people, nothing here to be offended by. Go watch a show that is about France with only French actors and let the rest of us enjoy this great show.

Just watched Season 1 on Netflix. When I needed to keep saying 'suit up' I knew this was a joke. Even after Travis was 'supposedly' subjected to radiation. Why was the guy who had that traumatic head injury - one, having his hands behind his head where the issue was in the picture of him in the hospital, two, returned to the ranch after such a serious unexplained incident. Why was the cow autopsied onsite? Was there any blood or any tissue samples taken to do further tests? No, it must be the UFO. And we needed some old woman to come in and say exactly what these stupid wealthy mean did? Then the wealthy owner of the land. He sends a bunch of expensive 'scientists' and equipment but never checks into this phenomenon on his land on a daily basis by him or this team. And Dragon? Why in the world was he even on the show? He contributed nothing except whining about digging and sitting there with a dumb look on his face the entire time. Why did they even need a security guy there at all? Heck he didn't even help in securing the animals that were unnecessarily tested on. A colossal waste of time trying to entertain the audience with no real evidence, equipment failing but cameras didn't even glitch, just to sit at a table at the end of the season accomplishing nothing and saying what's next. Shouldn't they already know what's next? Save yourself unless you are looking for a good laugh. I couldn't even get past Season 1 because it was clearly so fake. If this was even near being real, the government would have been all over it and taken over the property.
