When I seen that Hugh Grant was in this I was intrigued as to why someone would cast this quirky posh lad in a movie such as this? He actually carries it off quite well and although it’s sold as a horror film I think it’s more of psychological thriller with a different take on things than most of the genre. Highly recommended if you have a penchant for the weird.

Cracking movie but not necessarily In the same vein as most of his films. Tense in parts and thrilling In others. Ignore poor reviews and give it a shot.

Not a patch on the classic Bill Paxton movie which was more intense and entertaining. Farfetched is an understatement but best to wait until it’s on TV rather than waste a cinema visit.

Apart from the great cinematography this is a poor film to say the least. There was no suspense whatsoever due to the lack of music and the snail pace that follows the weak story line. The gore isn’t much to shout about. The only scary part was the time I spent in a cinema watching this lame drivel.

Personally I think this is a well made low budget horror film with plenty of suspense. Steeped in eerie and mythical folk lore and sufficient twists and jumpy moments. Well worth a watch

A great low budget movie that was much better than I expected it would be.

FTWD started off a great show for the first few seasons. Bringing in Morgan seemed a great idea but then they systematically removed all the other great characters and gradually the story lines became absurd until eventually the final season was written on the back of a cigarette packet and was utter dross.

If you like the films Jason does then you will not be disappointed by this action packed thriller from start to finish! Hoping there will be a sequel.
