Angel Mia

Mulan follows the Greek philosophy of the Phoenix that rises from the dust to become its crowning glory. The Phoenix here is a beautiful bird that guides her to where she should be. She has special skills in martial arts but she has to hide her identity as a woman to accomplish her purpose. She is pretty much rejected by everyone. But in the end she is able to protect and serve the Emperor. Honoring Family also becomes a virtue. All is well.
