Fantastic film, some people are mad that the main actor awakened someone else on purpose. But It was due to his actions that saved everyone on board. And If the ship didn't wake anyone up accidently, all would be dead, besides... she was given a choice to go back to sleep at the end and she made her choice.
So overall, if he didn't wake up, outcome: All dead by exploded ship... 2. If he "did" wake up and have not pre awakened someone else, outcome: All dead because he needed help and someone to pull lever... the other man that woke up understood his circumstances and choice, not that he agreed, but understood because he was drowning lol.
