The premise for the plot is interesting. The story line is frustrating at times because the judge and son’s actions make no sense, a lot of the times. Other characters are not making sense in many instances either. The acting is fine, as expected from the solid acting crew. If “Breaking Bad” was tight from start-to-finish, this show is weak, the characters and the development in the plot line are unlikely: between the choices the characters make or don’t make, things they say, questions they don’t ask when they are supposed to, all these failed opportunities make the show bogus. It frustrates me more than anything when a good story gets lost in the unlikely paths, leading it to the dead ends from which it awkwardly then needs to get onto another viable path to stay afloat. This scenario was a draft and needed much more work before seeing the screen time, like the character development, most of the plot choices, and many of the dialogues. In the end, this story barely stays afloat.
