I was 25 years old when this show first came out and all I loved about it was the gangster element. Now here I am 20 years later watching it again totally appreciating the Artistic nature of the beast called The Sopranos. The simple fact that show exposed every main character for his or her true self was amazing. This show will make you cringe, cry and laugh all in one episode. James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano was amazing. What I thought was a hard core gangster 20 years ago was truly a very unstable dam near Bi Polar character being portrayed by him. RIP James Gondolfini you set the bar when it comes to main characters and that bar may be a tad bit too high
