Made by Godzilla fans for Godzilla fans, this movie was ridiculously fun and cool. Yes, the plot was dumb and the characters were thin and shallow and only existed to get the monsters on the screen. But to be honest that is what makes this such an authentic Godzilla movie. The monster redesigns are great, and the musical tribute to the original monster themes were something I greatly appreciated. It's not high art by any means, but it is a GREAT giant monster movie and will make you feel like a kid again, and is worth an afternoon at the theater
