This film was absolutely and unexpectedly great. Sure, it wouldn't consider to be a top choice with critics, but it should be nominated for the tech. Oscar categories at least (especially Best Visual Effects). Detective Pikachu is perfect for fans and non-fans alike, as the film brings in the nostalgia from the games and the television series, and the basics to know what Pokemon is and how their universe is formed (for those who are not fans of the brand). I really enjoyed this film.

An extremely "visual" film that goes WAY out of focus of the main plot of the actual story in the Bible. This film proves to be one of the reasons why you shouldn't alternate the actual stories for entertainment. Shameful. VERY shameful.
