Aruvi is easily the best movie that I have seen this year. The movie starts a bit slow with nonlinear story telling which leaves the audience confused but with an element of mystery. From there the innocence is shed and the movie travels through the realm of black comedy highlighting several prejudices that we hold to our hearts. There is no overt melodrama. The acting is matter-of-fact. Just like the movie's name Aruvi which means waterfall, this movie has a waterfall of emotions which flows right into the audience's heart by the protagonist Aruvi ( Aditi Balan - superb debut).
