As much as I admire all the hard work and effort that went into this movie...it does however perhaps inadvertently tarnish the cherished memories of the original magical animation. The modern version just doesn't have the spirit of Dumbo and I sense that the task at hand of converting the short Disney classic into a modern day blockbuster was just too great. You can see the cracks in this film you can almost get a sense of the imagination from all it's creators trying their best but they probably had a right nightmare making it and that shows. In the end on its own merits it's worth seeing just to gage how different and strange this movie is...just try and keep your anger or grumpiness locked away because the inner you may well want to poo poo or get in a bad mood about this film however it's not the end of the world really...
