Way too Cliche- the acting boring- the writing too thin, the singing banal, and it reminds me of the Wiz

Too Hollywood- too polished- Acting was made for TV and writing banal and verbose. Sadly I was really looking forward to this movie . Maria was best part of the cast-Tony was the worst. On screen he shows about as much passion for Maria as I do for my Sister- in fairness though the script is Lousy- And where’s the Director This isn’t ET. Which BTW there was more emotion between the actors and ET.
