Unless you are obsessed fan of Hollywood in the late 60s, this film is just boring.

Yes, the costumes, acting, settings were outstanding, but the story line was awful. Nastiness presented as humour; women as conniving or hysterical; gratuitous swearing and language to shock because there weren't enough ideas to sustain the film; women having to be lovers because being friends can't be possible. The film was cruel, misogynistic and reflected well the ethos of getting to the top by whatever it takes.
