It's OK. The Bowser's Fury part seems like it was developed on a budget. It's very short, and very boring. The main game is nearly identical to the Wii U's version, except you move way too fast, making it easy to fall off of platforms or just outright miss important collectables. It'd be cool if you could transfer your save data from the Wii U over to the Switch. That way I could enjoy the 150+ hours I spent on 3D world on the Wii U portably. It would also be nice if you could disable the intense speed boost it gives you if you run for a few seconds.

Total garbage! It feels like it was rushed in development and has NO SENSE of quality. It doesn't teach music, it isn't a tool for making music, and it doesn't live up to what the game was created for. I bought this game for roughly $30 at Target, and it feels like I got ripped off. Worth less than it costs, not recommended.

Terrible! Poor animation, lots of bad plotholes, and doesn't show any respect whatsoever toward the Titanic.

Just a port of the Wii U version. Quite disappointed in Nintendo being too lazy to develop another game.

This Mario Party adds to what was added with Mario Party 9 and the handheld 3DS games. The games go buttery smooth and all luck is rewarded by skill. The game is heavily balanced, you get dice blocks you need, and all minigames feel well made and polished. Nd Cube really did it right with a Mario Party game! Also, this game adds Bowser Party, an epic take on a 5-player mode utilizing the GamePad. It also adds amiibo Party, which utilizes the GamePad's NFC reader function. For the Wii U, this is perfect. Having it play in HD and show how the GamePad can interact with a game was a good choice for Mario Party.

This game defies all of the rules of previous Mario Parties. Instead of collecting Mini Stars, you collect Coins and attempt to collect Stars. This increases the luck factor heavily, as you could win every minigame, but still never get a chance to earn a Star. Everyone moves independently now, which removes strategy even more, as the Star could move very close to one specific player and they can get to it in just one turn. I expected more from Nintendo and Nd Cube, but I'm still pleased to have a Mario Party on the Switch, so I give it 2 stars.
