This book teaches about the pressures of society and how children react and deal with it. It is also covers issues of absent parents and family. Tamsin Winters opens up a whole world of judgment, peer pressure and self esteem while giving her readers a laugh. She connects with children and siblings and is a great read for everyone of all ages.

I watched the movie and i still have my fingers crossed for the next one. However, this is one of those movies where they take out certain key scenes that showed up in the book, which may leave you with gaps to fill. For those who want more i suggest reading the books, which are a fantastic read for young adults who feel like they are something more than they are told. if you can't wait for the next part of the movie try reading the books instead, and connect with the character more by expanding your imagination.
The actors chosen for each characters where a perfect fit, though. They knew how to put you at the edge of your seat and leave your begging for more.
