For the Fans of the book, this is an absolute disaster. It is way too different from the book. the movies left out so many important things from the book and added things in that just ruin the original story. Rick Riordan creates these beautiful characters that you make a bond within the books but in the movies, they cant connect with any of the characters. The movies could be at least a little bit better if the actors tried to get to know what the REAL characters were like. it disgusts me how Annabeth flirts with Percy at the end. Besides that, the movies make Annabeth and Grover look like sidekicks, which is not correct. I know you cant make a perfect remake but they forgot entire chapters, characters, and the ages of all the characters. The actors and the director needs to read the books to know the story they are going to put on screens. I was looking forward to a movie where my favorite book would be transformed into a good movie. This was one of the worst movies I have seen in my life.
