MY SPOILER FREE REVIEW!!! Wow...this film was so amazing. * Justice League built so wonderfully on the characters introduced in Batman v Superman while evolving them as they appropriately should. What I loved most were the numerous references to BvS that was done in this film. There is a realistic acknowledgment of certain moments that “fans” may have had issues with and I laughed at a few and cheered for several others. * Each of our heroes had amazing moments to shine throughout the film, highlighting nicely developed characterizations, team banter and demonstrating their superb powers/abilities. With Batman, The Flash and Aquaman - there are numerous moments that set up future solo films and you are truly left wanting more...but in the best way possible. * As anyone who follows this page knows, I love Wonder Woman and the continuation of her story arc did not disappoint. She was sheer perfection. Additionally, the Amazons are once again freaking glorious. They have a huge scene in this film and it is utterly spectacular to watch them in action. Their other scene in the prologue battle, as well as the other “champions” who join in the fight is simply amazing. * But my MVP for this film goes to Superman!! Henry’s journey as the Man of Steel is fully realized in this film and it is reminiscent of both the animated JL Sups and Chris Reeve while still remaining true to Henry’s interpretation of the character. He is fully realized and he does not disappoint. * Steppenwolf and his Parademon horde were a formidable threat. He elevated his game whenever he reappeared throughout the film. And as each hero battles him alone, it’s quite clear why they need to come together to end his reign of terror on the Earth. * I must note that a number of (quick) scenes from the trailers and tv spots are not in the actual film. This movie is not without its flaws (minor as they are from my perspective) but I don’t plan to go into them here.
