I really enjoyed this show. It kind of went under the radar for me but I was very happy that I found it. The dramatic reconstructions are nicely done and having the experts then inject what they know or think of the situation is a very nice contribution. I hope they make more.

Ip man 2 delivers some great action and although some of the scenes feel under served for the story telling and the exposition at times can seem convenient. The film clearly defines the heroes and villains and even though many of the emotional beats miss their mark you are still given enough to sweep you along. The story has a strong scent of Rocky IV about it and it would appear to be lifting moments directly from that film however Ip Man 2 does a better job with making a hated bad guy. the film moves along at a rapid pace and keeps the excitement coming right until the end. What this film lacks in sophistication it makes up for with dynamic stunts and tremendous choreography. A great deal of fun.
