Sujoy Ghosh once again back with the mastery of a crime detective thriller in recently released flick on Netflix- Jaanejaan. The basic charm of his films such as Kahani 1 & 2, Badla, and Typewriter is that they capture the old world elegance of detective books from yesteryear and reflect that world beautifully on screen.The visuals and storyline in Jaanejaan are also incredibly mesmerising.The foggy,dark and cold setting at Kalimpong and Darziling was beautifully captured.The choice of actors and actresses is the film's second selling point.Karina Kapur is back with a bang, and she is completely compelling in her role as a vulnerable single mother fighting for her and her daughter survival.Then there's Rajdeep Ahlwat, a talent powerhouse.As per the story's demand, he has shown a bald and spotty face,not so good looking but a shy and simple math teacher who is extremely talented and popular. He is secretly in love with his neighbour Karina Kapur.When he discovers that his neighbour-mother and daughter committed a murder by accident, he rushes in to help.In this thrilling hide and seek crime thriller, Vijay Varma plays a detective who travels to Kalimpong in pursuit of Saurabh Sachdeva, another superb budding actor who plays Karrina's abusive ex-husband and the person murdered by Karina and her daughter. Fantastic acting, superb direction and photography, and an engrossing story combine to make Jaanejaan a real crime detective film.Go and watch if not seen already. 5 *****

It's a quite rare film. It's a painful film that's difficult to watch. Tragic truths and hard realities had never been presented in such a direct manner. In the end, there is no retribution or justice. It begins with tragedy and ends with tragedy. And thats what real life is.While facing trauma in normal everyday life,the film is all about it.That makes it not to be missed movie. It is for our benefit. Fantastic directing, cinematography, and acting. In any reasonable society, this film should have been tax-free and widely promoted.

Ultimate satire on the danger earth is facing right now. Nothing can be more appropriate at this moment of time then what the Movie Don't Look up tries to portray in this movie. Earth is facing real danger of extinction and no one seems to have any concern about it. Pandemic corona shook the entire world, climate chance's dangers are so real,but what actually are we doing ? Totally indifferent towards it. Still involved in same selfishness. And this is the theme of this movie. A PhD student and her professor,played by Leanardo DiCaprio,find out that earth is going to hit by a large Comet and earth will be completely destroyed in six month,and they try to tell it to everyone who matters,govt,.Media,big corporate and the general public.But all big fours are totally reluctant and are simply still guided by their own greed,indulgence and lies they live in.What ensues is laugh riot but real danger lurking quite closely behind.Simply brilliant peice of art work to end the year.5 out 5.

Really very well made movie and it keeps audience completely engrossed in the flow of the movie and there is not any dull moment. Particularly the theme of the movie looks like that it may start preaching about domestic violence and women empowerment but without ever going into sermon mode, story unfolds interestingly in each and every scene. All the actress and actor have done the great role and direction and script is superb. There is no weakness in this movie. A must watch
