I thought this film was the most execrable movie of the last 20 years. I can find absolutely no redeeming factors whatsoever. On thing it isn’t is a ‘masterpiece’. Shaky camera-work masquerading as realism just served to distract from an equally hideous plot. My friend and I - who for what it’s worth were at the time both active members of ASSAP (Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena) - could not contain ourselves from bursting into fits of laughter during this movie. How this ever made it to the big screen is beyond me. For me, it now serves as the epitome of all that is laughably bad about the horror genre. Well, you did ask.
