Corporal McBurney's charm creates a tantalising flirtatious matrix in which he's the center of the universe, objectified and idolised... Dude then went full Icarus amd flew too close to the sun. I see a lot of reviews calling it a slow burner... I say there are too many block busters based on exploding buildings where you can see the ending a mile away, and you can tell clearly who is the good guy or the bad guy. I like that we get to know the characters before the movies pace changes. I do wish the sexual tension was more palpable... I didn't feel it. I would have shot certain scenes differently (if I was a film maker) Personally, I liked it enough to give it a 6.7 out of 10. I'd recommend you ignore our comments and watch it if your house is quiet enough and you want a movie that feels like a good book.
