I’m obsessed with builders 1 and easily spent hundreds of hours building/exploring and doing missions whenever I wanted. The storyline was super interesting, dark at times, and really well thought-out. It made it easy to get absorbed into that world and didn’t feel predictable. Since I started builders 2 i haven’t liked it nearly as much as the first. Although there are improvements it’s been kind of annoying having mission icons take up a side of the screen and when I’m exploring the screen will black out and redirect me to complete missions. It feels cartoon-ish, like it’s directed towards a younger audience than the first builders game. Lots of over the top sound effects during conversations too which gets old fast. A lot of others seem to really like this game, so it’s really just a matter of preference.
