It’s a rehashing of Watchmen, or The Incredibles for mature audiences. It feels heavy handed after every character has been blackmailed by another twice. The pacing can feel odd after plot lines are abandoned for two or three episodes. Overall, its a fun show. Despite its faults, the show is aesthetic, (although Homelander looks like he was made at Build-A-Bear). It’s entertaining to see a modern, morbid, and political perspective of superheroes play out.
