It was a movie that made me angry and sad and hopeful all at the same time. The cinematography is absolutely stunning and the subject matter is heavy. The entire movie I personally felt that Derek was going to be shot somehow, come to find out I was completely wrong. The movie takes place over the course of a day with flashbacks, that are filmed in black and white, pulled from as early as "yesterday" in the movie to as late as before the father died. There were certain scenes in the movie which made me so angry as well as scenes that made me cry as hard as Derek does in the movie. When Edward Norton cries, he cries with his entire being and whenever I see him cry I have to cry myself. Great movie overall and I would definitely watch it if you have yet to see it.
