So just watched the full series in one sitting. I thought a programme would never touch me as much as Derek did, and I was wrong. It’s a masterpiece. Hilarious,tear jerking and thought provoking. Ricky Gervais is effortlessly funny and believable as always. No other actor could have pulled this off. All the cast are amazing. This show really covers so many sensitive subjects, depression,drug abuse etc and yet, will leave you feeling hopeful. I honestly cannot fault it.
