Extremely contrived and laughable - and not in a good way. Every single person recommended for the main character to help is connected to the main's dad, church, friends, etc. WAAAAY too many "coincidences". In the very first episode son and dad were not even speaking, but by the end they were pals. None of the main characters appear to really work. They spend all their time running around town and solving people's problems. They have infinite money to run around, go out for drinks, and have the latest fashions, but never seem to actually work, shop for food and clothes, do the laundry or anything. I probably roll my eyes about 20 times per episode. I watch it mostly because the ridiculousness amuses me. Unfortunately, another program that sets up youth to expect their lives to be ice cream and roses without having to do anything to provide for that lifestyle. Scary.
