One of the hands-down worst movies I have seen in 20 years. Infused with random nonsensical aspects in attempt to be "smart / artsy". I prefer films over movies but there are no redeeming qualities or positive things to say about this drivel.

It's ok. I'm not very impressed with the casting and the episodes drag somewhat.

The narrative of "dumbing down" network news has existed as long as network news itself has existed. Keep in mind this was pre-CNN and the 24 hours news cycle, yet the storyline was relevant even in 1987. This movie is a not so subtle reminder of the unbelievable talent of Albert Brooks, Holly Hunter, and William Hurt.
