This show is like listening to your grandpa tell you stories about all the adventures he's had in his long life. All the way from playing with his dog in a field to his first kiss and everything after that. I never realized there was such a rich history to hip-hop. I never knew about the evolution of the culture and how it directly impacted the evolution of the music itself. The people involved in the journey are just so unique and likable you can't help but be absolutely captivated by their stories the entire time you watch. Each episode presents to you a different journey. One episode you will laugh and cry while the next episode you are on the edge of your seat wanting to know more about the background of different artists and groups. There is so much to learn and so much to enjoy in this series and I am honestly not sure it could be done any better. In my opinion this show so far has been something of a masterpiece and I cannot recommend it enough, in my eyes it is a 10/10.
