Nice visuals. Makes you feel like you are there. But as I watched and the end of the movie was approaching I’m getting more and more disappointed. Over the top, one calamity after another. Only thing missing was a tsunami to finish off a nearly 2 and a half hour display of abject misery and pain. And what’s with the dog poop and CGI airplanes flying in the background? This film lacked soul. It was just a documentary of sorts. Following these people around to witness their Greek tragedy. Clearly no way best movie of year. You gotta be kidding!
