Can I first laugh at the previous reviews. So typical of People to find this film unproductive in message in late 2019. Do they feel that way now? This movie captures every ounce of every point of view out there. From black people, to white people. White cops to black cops. Mom to dad. Pro black to Uncle Toms. Yes, the film is a conversation starter but would not have reached its potential until the recent murder of George Floyd. Not until the global movement to engage the conversation of police deescalation and accountability. This is a film for those who want to know more about the views of others and not just their own. Watch the film knowing their will be annoyances, but understand it is your conscience awaking to new ideas on a very valid truth of American Sons. The problem is that it’s a truth for black sons and their is no perfect path to the answers. Join the conversation and open your mind in the privacy of your homes. Good for teens that need to understand how one rough time in life can change the course of history. Good for white and black people that just don’t get what the issue is.
