this show depicts traits of realistic romance really well. it shows the awkward and slow development of having a crush, admitting that to yourself, and especially coming across a dilemma that keeps you from said crush/romance. it’s also accurate to show wilhem’s struggle with his decision because even if he’s in love, it isn’t so easy to abandon the life he has
