TLDR: Highly highly recommend watching it. An eye-opening experience, The Social Dilemma will make you think differently about the world we are currently living in. The direction is excellent providing a good mixture of drama and reality. The documentary itself is a paradox as it talks about how the social media (internet in general) attempts to change your viewpoint about anything and everything with ever so subtle nudges. It is paradoxical as the documentary itself is doing that. Afterwards, I was left staring blankly at my phone and how much it can potentially control my behavior. Provided I let it.
