Not a patch on Band of Brothers or The Pacific. American gung ho nonsense ala Top Gun. And why the anti British digs? Combat scenes are pretty good but apart from that a big letdown, it's a pity I was really looking forward to the show but alas it falls flat big time.

Monty and Keith was an obvious set up. Monty arrives just as they're casting off. Ffs yeah right.

Bit of a slow burner for me. As someone who watched from the start on release of the franchise its got a tad of the first films, Ewan is excellent as Ben and the young Leia potrayed well as the tomboy we know she must have been.The jury is out for now ,we shall see.
