I have read All of Jeff Lindsay's Dexter books. Some outstanding, some horrible. My point is that the actual creator of Dexter went different directions, let's let the TV Dexter go with different directions. Stick with it, because the Dexter flavor is right there, Michael Hall kills it. Chuckle.
