Honestly ... I bought this novel because of the hype and obviously Chitra the great writer( I simply loved palace of illusions)...but I really don't know what to say about this book ...I just got angrier each day with each and every character and chapter.... I felt like all everyone cared about in this entire story was wealth and money ... I was expecting a story about a great warrior queen and not a queen who would only care about her ghagras, jewellery, her yearly allowances and her son.....she had nothing to do with the well-being of her people ...so called mother of khalsa.
