The original is far better than the HBO series. Anybody really interested should watch the original scenes from a marriage. The HBO Siri changes a lot it’s not the wife that leaves it’s a husband that leaves in the original. However, the actors are superb.

Although very original and interesting in an overview general way, the story just lacks cohesion for me. It did not hold my interest enough throughout the book which is very long. Very admirable to save trees and to be conscious of our environment is there a living creatures just like human beings. But the characters were really stick figures in my mind
