If near future is such a confusing place, I rather run away to the faraway past.. The story line is so very poor. The set designs appaluling. The oil in pet bottles, and storage boxes straight from IKEA. Ambassador cars in 'future' . What about empowered women? That gang of women could easily smash the guru Ma..( gender confusion again). Expected much more from Deepa Mehta. Sorry.. Don't think I can muster the ' himmat' to go beyond the first episode.. She is safe categorising Leila as sci- fic , or else could have landed in different trouble..
